Job Description:
 A Fortune 500 company seeks a Project Manager. The candidate will be responsible for developing designs, preparing estimates and/or managing prepared projects to ensure quality construction of natural gas distribution system additions, expansions, and modifications in accordance with all company policies and accepted standards to meet the needs of new and existing customers within budgetary guidelines. Provide project management services for these projects from inception through completion. Prepares project designs and estimates and/or manages prepared projects. Designs must incorporate reliable, economical, safe, and timely expansion of the division’s natural gas distribution facilities. Follows projects through the construction process to ensure timely completion and accurate posting of construction documents, as-built data and financial records. Communicates with customers and other work groups to ensure internal and external expectations are met. Incorporates safety in the design, operation, and/or management of facilities. Effectively manages assigned projects while maintaining work product reliability and volume. Functions in a team leadership role for the coordination of on site work activities and communications. Represents the work group/organization in presentations to management or similar company settings. The candidate should have an Associate’s degree with 5+ years’ responsible related experience in design/construction/project management experience; or a general educational knowledge normally acquired through a high school diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) with 6+ years’ responsible related experience in related design/construction/project management.
