Job Description:

A Fortune 500 company seeks a Financial Analyst. The candidate will be responsible for the oversight and coordination of financial statement analysis and key reporting metrics. Key job responsibilities include: Assisting in the monthly, quarterly and year-end accounting close process to ensure that financial statements are accurate and complete in all aspects; effectively oversee the division’s core financial system including account usage, entity structure and reporting design/distribution; analyze company financial performance against trends and budget objectives; oversee the completion of monthly P&L reporting package for HQ management and division management. Oversee rate and headcount database, including developing new and more efficient ways to collect and analyze data. Work closely with functional departments in order to understand all aspects of cable operations. Work with the divisions to identify and address accounting issues, including documentation of the issue and the its related resolution. Working with the outside auditors during quarter-end and year-end audits. The candidate should have Bachelor's degree. Must have a GPA of 3.25 or better. 2-5 years’ experience preferred or 4-6 years’ previous experience is required.
