Job Description:
 A financial services company focused primarily on real estate finance and related activities seeks an Assistant Manager. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring REO properties are marketed and processed in compliance with regulatory, legal, investor and department guidelines. Reviewing files, output, and reports. Supervising assigned employees: Interviewing, hiring, coaching, training, developing, and providing consequences. Managing a portfolio (which will vary in size and complexity depending on business need). Monitoring workflow and processes, identifying issues with plans for improvements and providing to management, and executing solutions when applicable. Ensuring complete communication regarding changes that will impact team/individuals. Performing periodic quality control audits to identify procedural deficiencies and staff training needs. Assisting management in resolving concerns, complex issues, and customer service/business partner questions. The candidate should have Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or real estate or equivalent work experience. Should have familiarity with the state and federal rules and regulations that apply to REO sales. Working knowledge of mortgage banking and real estate sales is required. Professional presence to interact with internal and external business partners is necessary. The ideal candidate may also possess: 3-4 years' experience in a mortgage/banking, real estate or finance environment; 2-3 years' mortgage banking experience with increasing levels of responsibility; 1-2 years' supervisory experience preferred.
