Job Description:
A large, growing national firm whose work reflects an enduring commitment to its clients is seeking a Senior Interior Designer with Hospitality work experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Interaction with clients, meetings and presentations.
2. Develop conceptual designs for commercial interior design projects.
3. Responsible for furniture selection, budgets and specifications.
4. Develop and be responsible for interior projects budgets.
5. Coordinate with technical team for programming and space planning.
6. Assist in the manufacturer’s products library.

Job Requirements:
1.4-year degree in Interior Architectural design or equivalent experience.
2.Minimum 10-15 years experience in the design of Hospitality projects.
3.Must be autocad and InDesign proficient. Must have excellent presentation drawing and sketching abilities. Revit experience a plus.
4.Must have thorough knowledge of systems furniture planning and workstation design.
5.Must show an understanding of the appropriate project processes, and be able to demonstrate design team leadership.
6.Must demonstrate understanding of working within established business parameters and meeting project objectives within those same parameters.
7.Must show ability to problem solve, both individually and as part of a project team.
8.Must show ability to make client presentations and carry out required follow-up.
9.Must show ability to be involved on multiple project teams.
10. Must have excellent verbal and written business communication skills, motivated self-starter, thorough knowledge of commercial project constructability.
11. Must have thorough knowledge of commercial project constructability, project costs, and current Code requirements.
12. Must provide own transportation to and from approved business meetings outside the office.
13. Will be required to transport meeting materials, including design boards and sketches, fabric and carpet samples to and from meetings as required.
14. Must have good business and financial understanding.
15. Must have working knowledge of contractual relationships and document linkages.
