Job Description:

One of the largest residential mortgage lenders in the country seeks a Financial Analyst preferably with 1-4 years of financial experience. The candidate will be responsible for providing specialized financial reporting and analysis to an IT organization with a $15M annual budget and be the liaison between corporate finance and the IT organization. Perform monthly variance analysis of expenses versus budget. Assist in creating and monitoring department budgets including quarterly forecasting and annual budget process. Assist in reporting and tracking accruals. Will be in charge of managing all existing chargeback models including running the models on a monthly basis and performing a quarterly validate of model pricing. Develop a total cost of operations (TCO) model for entire department incorporating existing chargeback models and developing models for missing components. Tracking and reporting on capital expenditures for the year. Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to senior management. Opportunity to grow into a manager position and develop team with an existing associate analyst and junior financial analyst. The candidate should have Bachelor's degree. Must be able to read and write as well as interpret complex financial documents. Should have deep understanding and some experience with GAAP. Experience with Peoplesoft preferred. Experience with IT terminology preferred.
