A company creating technologies that confer “location awareness” or “location intelligence” to a wide range of consumer products seeks a Financial Analyst with 3-6 years of experience in finance at a high-technology company. The candidate will be responsible for financial and analytical support for the company. This involves forecasting and attaining corporate operational objectives through management reporting and analysis intended to drive desired operating results. Key role in annual and quarterly planning and forecasting process. Budgeting responsibility for assigned functions on a global basis, including coordination with international entities. Establish relationships as a business partner with assigned functions, enabling and ensuring execution to plan and reporting issues. Participation in implementation of planning software solution. Participation in forecasting of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements. Preparation of management reports including summarization and analysis of operating results and tracking of business metrics. This includes participation in the creation of a business measurement dashboard. Gather benchmarking financial data for establishing corporate operational objectives. Special corporate analysis projects. The candidate should have a B.S. degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent. M.B.A. preferred. Semiconductor industry background preferred. Requires a general understanding of GAAP and ability to apply to practical methodologies. Must be very proficient in Hyperion and Oracle.
