Job Description:
 A company offering mutual funds, fixed and variable annuities, separately managed accounts, and retirement plans seeks a Senior Operations Analyst with 4+ years’ related mutual fund experience. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating the workflow within the risk management, quality, and monitoring department. Assists management with trend analysis, reporting, monitoring, and improvement recommendations for attaining departmental goals. Prepares weekly and monthly reports to satisfy departmental objectives. Interacts with own department as well as others to facilitate resolution of questions and concerns. Provides feedback to manager regarding current and potential issues affecting department. Makes recommendations for improving procedures or workflow and documents departmental procedures. Communicates with internal and external clients by notifying and clarifying instructions or resolving processing problems. Coordinates requests from internal and external auditors. Works with information technology group to coordinate the implementation of system enhancements affecting the workflow. Acts as liaison for information technology on system issues and problems. Develops and maintains departmental procedures accordingly. Works with compliance as necessary to fulfill transfer agency regulatory requirements. The candidate should have Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training. Expertise in the following software applications may be required: Access, Excel, and Power Select.
