Job Description:

An insurance company providing property and casualty insurance products for individuals, families and businesses seeks a Portfolio Manager preferably with 4-7 years’ experience in fixed income investment management. The candidate will join cohesive fixed income investment management firm to work with insurance-related and other institutional clients. This position is responsible for the management of assigned portfolios within the context of the current investment strategy and adhering to the specific portfolio objectives and guidelines. The preferred candidate should have M.B.A. and/or CFA. Ideal candidate has solid understanding of portfolio management concepts and experience in a total return setting. Should have the ability to synthesize economic data, credit analysis and security structure in development of trade ideas. Experience in money markets, municipals is a plus. Solid quantitative skills a necessity; proficiency with Yield Book and other technology applications also desired.
