Job Description:
A Fortune 500 company seeks a Branch Manager with 5+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The candidate will report to District Manager. Will manage a stand-along branch. Help drive revenue, increase profit before taxes, and manage risk within the branch. Will also be responsible for maintaining a superior and consistent level of client service, developing cohesive teams, providing consistent leadership, and assuming accountability for the Branch Challenge Goals. Must be responsible for fiscal management, employee morale, business ethics and practices, while adhering to all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations. Must have a thorough understanding of the firm’s products and those of its strategic partners and use this knowledge to provide resources and direction in order to help drive sales. Apply product/business knowledge to recruiting efforts. Must be able to translate competitor offerings into products. Will seek opportunities to grow business and drive sales by capitalizing on firm initiatives. Focus on building strong relationships with corporate departments and strategic partners to achieve the marketing efforts of the Branch. Drive corporate marketing initiatives, including emphasizing Client Segmentation through the use of marketing initiatives (Householding and Tiered-Benefits) to increase market share in High Net Worth households. Participate in complex and district initiatives, including sales, hiring, recruitment, diversity, and community outreach. Responsible for growing the branch though hiring, lateral recruiting and training. Leverage the resources of the firm to achieve the highest level of success. Act as a coach and mentor for financial advisors in order to derive results. Will be responsible for the branch's sales performance and financial performance. Responsible for regulatory, legal and compliance issues including: Risk management for the Branch in regards to monitoring sales, human resources, and legal and regulatory practices. Responsible for creating a core compliance model in offices under supervision. Responsible for following supervisory procedures as outlined in the Branch Manager’s Supervisory Manual. Will also be responsible for delegating supervisory review/duties to Complex Administrative Manager. Will create an Annual Supervisory Plan. Active Series 7, 8 (or 9 and 10), 66 (or 63 and 65), 3 registrations required.
