Job Description:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
•Determine all geometric blueprint features to be inspected
•Perform complex inspections requiring the use of special inspection equipment such as Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
•Determine conformance/non-conformance to engineering blueprint.
•Document and report non-conforming material.
•Create inspection programs and tool configurations when necessary
•Verify that all inspection equipment used is operational
•Maintain all required inspection programs and records of completed inspections
•Other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements:
Requirements & Competencies
•CMM operation experience
•Experience with PC/DMIS 3.7 MR3 or later desired
•Strong understanding of GD&T
•Strong Math skills preferred, including: algebra, geometry, and trigonometry
•Excellent blueprint reading skills
•Ability to analyze and troubleshoot machine set-ups
•Knowledge of preferred technical inspection techniques
Education & Experience
•Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing and/or Industrial Technology, or equivalent formal training, or have extensive on-the-job training demonstrating the above skills and abilities
