This position ensures compliance with all standards, policies and regulations for safe, environmentally-sound production of a quality product. This position has 20 direct reports and reports directly to the Area Operations Manager. Minimum requirements for this position include:Ã¯ šÂ§ Bachelor's degree with mining related discipline or the equivalent in relevant work experience. Ã¯ šÂ§ At least three years of plant management experience with prior P/L responsibility a plus,Ã¯ šÂ§ Excellent verbal and written communication skills,Ã¯ šÂ§ Excellent organization and time management skills,Ã¯ šÂ§ Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office products,Responsibilities include: Ã¯ šÂ§ Plan and direct the daily operations of an approximately 1,000,000 tpy quarry producing crushed stone, Ã¯ šÂ§ Effectively and proactively administer Hanson\'s safety program ensuring compliance with MSHA rules and regulations.
