This position provides guidance in all areas of plant operation. Including safety, quality, service and plant efficiencies. This individual will also be responsible for bringing Erwin into compliance with all company SOPs. Erwin is a multi-line facility that currently manufactures Dairy feeds, minerals, protein products as well as packaging and shipment of numerous specialty products. LOL Purina Feeds has recently invested over $3 million into upgrading the facility to handle mineral manufacturing. The facility also ships products from a remote warehouse to manufacturing facilities, dealers and customers in our North East marketplace. This position will require an individual that has strong organizational skills to handle overseeing the many different requirements placed upon this plant while still meeting compliance goals. Required (Basic) Experience & Education 4 year degree in engineering technology, animal science or related field required in addition to 4+ years of managerial experience in feed manufacturing or distribution systems. Must be oriented toward process improvement and have demonstrated computer skills.
