Own the daily relationship with key Supply Chain partners including performance to budget, on-going negotiations of contract terms, management and issuance of purchase orders, and resolution of supply and quality issues. *Own an improvement plan with each Supply Chain partner that will ensure a continued focus on projects to improve supply, product quality and deliver cost. Ensure coordination of these improvement plans across supply partners in the extended supply chain by facilitating cross communication and balancing individual values. *Work with supply partners on the purchase of key raw and packaging materials to ensure recognition of best network price and development of preferred material vendors for quality, service and price. *Lead the continual contracting efforts for over 30+ vendors anticipated to support MPI. *Coordinate efforts across MPI and our extended Supply Chain partners to leverage sourcing best practices that ensure lowest cost, high-quality operations and services. *Coordinate with R&D to ensure purchase contracts are leveraged to facilitate low cost development and clinical materials while ensuring product and process development consistent with favorable commercial partnerships. Qualifications: Minimum Skills: *Requires over 10 years of experience in commercial pharmaceutical operations with a demonstrated history in management of external supply relationships. *Requires substantial previous demonstrated success in the negotiation of commercial production and service contracts.
