Formulate and execute plans related to supply chain integration, materials systems and production planning to achieve world class performance, with emphasis on on-time delivery, inventory optimization, and lead-time reduction. · Develop and maintain the operating premises data as assumptions in production planning such as demonstrated capacities and product yields. · Implement APICS principles and Supply Chain Planning best practices to continuously improve the production planning process. · Coordinate and communicate cross functionally with Sales and Marketing, Operations, Quality, Purchasing, and Finance to incorporate customer and business requirements into production planning. · Develop and oversee the creation of a valid Master Production Schedule that is compatible with manufacturing capacity constraints and customer requirements. · Maintain the Sales Operations Inventory Planning process and facilitate the SOIP monthly meetings. · Develop inventory targets by plant and product groups that enable CMP to achieve business, sales and operations plan targets. Develop and publish metrics to track Inventory execution and Supply Chain performance. · Determine level of safety stock needed to maintain targeted customer service levels. · Provide an achievable shop floor schedule and maintain schedule attainment metrics.
