Development and maintenance of project master schedule and planning activities. Review and monitor engineering and construction contractor progress. Maintenance and coordination of project change management including review and assessment of change orders and claims. Development and maintenance of risk management assessment and mitigation plans. Review and assessment of contractor commitments and invoices. Provision of oversight and validation of project related procurement activities. Management of other project controls owner team resources and provide the appropriate independence and validation of contractor and A/E provided reports and other contractual requirements. Active participation in project team meetings and activities by project controls staff. Represent the Director of Project Controls and Compliance for the project and provide support on audits or other project reviews as required. Provide coordination with the BMS Financial community on accounting and financial matters specific to the project as required. Position Requirements: BS Engineering or BA BS in Accounting or Finance with significant construction project experience, MBA or masters in Engineering desirable. Minimum of 15 years cost engineering or project controls experience in an owner or architectural engineering firm or construction management firm. Proven leader in execution of large capital projects in an international environment. Knowledge of various forms of contract engagement including remeasurable, lump sum, reimbursable and GMax. Strong knowledge of the engineering and construction industry including indepth understanding of the engineering, construction, commissioning and validation and contracting processes knowledge of Biotech Pharmaceutical industry a significant plus.
