Job Description:
Coordinate required outages with the responsible operations center and arrange for or accept clearances as required. Maintain construction oversight for OSHA compliance requirements in accordance with the company's construction compliance oversight program. With the guidance of higher level employees, provide limited technical guidance for company/contractor personnel regarding construction of station or line transmission facilities. With the guidance of higher level employees, assist with the conducting of tests on construction materials and equipment as required. With the guidance of higher level employees, provide estimates to allow authorization of station or line transmission construction work by contract forces, including verification of work performed and approval of contractor invoices. With the guidance of higher level employees, inspect and check the receipt of materials for construction projects for shortages, timeliness, damages and correctness. Prepare reports and take appropriate corrective action. Coordinate delivery of material with other groups and vendors. With the guidance of higher level employees, work with project manager/lead as well as others within and outside the Company to coordinate some of the necessary resources for assigned projects. Minimum Requirements Bachelors Degree in Construction Management Science with emphasis on project/construction management, Or Bachelors Degree in Construction Technology, accredited by ABET, Or ABET accredited Associates Degree in Construction Management Technology field with 2 years work experience in project/construction management.
