Job Description:
This position will work closely with and provide significant support to the Business Development group to ensure continuing growth of business opportunities within current client base and beyond.- Design and implement improvements as needed for current processes including metrics tracking to be utilized for productivity benchmarks, office profitability and most efficient use of current resources.Requirements: REQUIREMENTS:Minimum of 15 years experience directing clinical groups preferably in a CRO environment. Must have demonstrated experience in clinical research arena (CRO, pharmaceutical, biotech) with interactions with US and/or European regulatory agencies. Educational level should be Ph.D. or MS with equivalent in years of experience in clinical research, background in Biostatistics, Medical or other Clinical fields preferred. Must be a strong leader and possess excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills as well as strategic planning and organizational skills. Previous proven operational and project management skills required.- Extensive knowledge of clinical research, including Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and ICH guidelines.- Knowledge of operational management, including budgeting; project management; broad knowledge of management principles and techniques.- Ability to plan, organize and execute policies and programs for a diverse organization. Must demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
