Job Description:
Perform job duties with minimal guidance Deliver high-quality program deliverables on time and within budget Manage, track and troubleshoot a series of related trials within a single program or multiple programs Identify program risks, and proactively create and implement mitigation strategies Manage a Clinical Operations team in a matrix environment, and provide program-specific leadership, guidance, clinical trial management expertise and direction to achieve results, and provide timely and direct feedback to functional managers Represent Clinical Operations as a member of the Development Subteam Provide timely and accurate input to clinical development plans including forecasting of timelines, assessment of feasibility for protocol design, estimation of resources and program level budget Collaborate effectively with cross-functional management teams and external partners Review staffing needs and communicate with Clinical Operations management to ensure adequate resources are assigned to achieve program deliverables Develop, implement and manage program-level Clinical Operations budget and timelines, and communicate initial budget and changes to review bodies as appropriate Provide timely and accurate information to Project Management for program level tracking Prepare Clinical Operations deliverables for Business and Development Assessments, and coordinate Clinical Operations review and approval Requirements Bachelors degree (advanced degree preferred) with a minimum of eight years of clinical research experience, preferably in multiple phases Minimum of three years of experience as a Clinical Trial Manager with accountability for managing study budgets, timelines and resources.
