Manages resources, timelines and budgets for clinical programs run globally and within the United States to meet clinical and corporate goals and metrics. .Identification, selection and management of external resources from a full service CRO to contract monitors. .Line and functional management (including training and mentoring) responsibility for all staff on assigned programs. .Ensures that all clinical research conducted globally and in the US adheres to corporate SOP's, GCP, ICH guidelines and applicable national and Federal regulations. .Responsibilities include the day to day management of the Clinical Operations team as well as training and development of this team (SOP's; GCP, ICH and federal regulations etc.) .Leads and manages (including forecasting and problem-solving) all operational aspects of the US program to meet corporate and departmental metrics. Coordinate clinical operations, drug safety, technical operations, regulatory, contracts and CROs to facilitate progress of program(s). .Provides senior management with timely updates on the progress, changes in scope and resource requirements for select clinical studies. .Ensures that proper processes are adhered to with regard to the initiation, conduct and closeout of all US run studies as well as the maintenance of the Trial Master File for such trials.
