Job Description:
Estimate time frames and budgets with accuracy for assigned projects, and write proposals and define project scope, under the direction of the CSD. * Review and approve department timecards for accuracy and time effectiveness, and prepare work evaluation review for assigned staff. * Coordinate the project efforts between the different project Roles and provide a clear understanding of the organizational Roles of a project to all project team members. * Ensure project QC / QA is completed to the satisfaction of the CSD. * Ensure projects are error and omission free to the satisfaction of the CSD. * Monitor and report on project progress, budgets, staffing, deadlines, and critical issues. * Monitor construction administration phase and close-out phase services. * Conduct milestone presentations of projects as they occur. * Issue periodic progress reports to CSD and Client (at least bi-weekly) and review monthly project progress reports with CSD to monitor project profitability. * Review Schematic and Design Development documents with the Director of Design. * Maintain responsibility for the development of project Work Plans. * Review of Mock Sets with the CSD, CEO, and project team. * Coordinate and review progress of construction documents (50%) with the CSD and CEO. * Manage Quality Control of contract documents and review of final documents with CSD and CEO. * Provide timely approvals from reviewing agencies with minimal comments and re-reviews.
