Job Description:
 A company providing software, services and process outsourcing seeks a Senior Financial Analyst with 3-5 years’ relevant experience in financial/business analysis. The candidate will provide financial support and oversight to the supply organization. The position is a general management finance position that provides overall support of financial analysis, planning, (in some cases account reconciliations) and reporting functions. Regular interaction with the business units for practice area costs that are both held centrally and embedded in each operating company. Position requires continuous communication and coordination with the practice area lead (SVP, VP) and direct reports to develop forecasts, analyze costs and revise plans as needed and also serves as the primary interface for the practice area for financial and accounting related issues. Partner with practice area organization directors/ managers to provide them guidance and direction relating to financial matters and decision-making. Provide leadership, direction and complete the development of practice area budgets and the integration of those budgets with business plans. Enter the monthly forecasting in Khalix. Responsible for accurate / complete billing and updating methodologies as needed based on discussion with practice area service providers. Ensure alignment between corporate financial and ‘local’ practice area goals. Provide leadership and guidance in the proper application of accounting rules and standards within the assigned departments. Review actual spends and complete journal entries as required. Identify cost saving opportunities areas for practice areas through analysis and reporting of costs as related to defined processes. Participates in and supports local process improvement initiatives with financial data and analysis. Provide specialized financial evaluation support for practice area as needed. Requires undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting or economics. Ideally the candidate should have CPA, MBA or interest in acquiring same. Should have experience in business planning, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, variance analysis and business modeling.
