Job Description:
Seeking a Engineering Supervisor who will lead and grow an engineering staff currently consisting of 6 engineers, to support the specialty vacuum valves and vacuum chamber market. We are looking for candidates throughout the United States. The Company is willing to pay for relocation and upon job acceptance will provide financial assistance toward the purchase of a home. This position will lead the staff in: product design, performing stress and heat transfer analysis, designing the manufacturing tools and fixtures, training other engineers, hiring additional staff, and managing the configuration management process. Responsibilities Include: * Scheduling the engineering work * Sign-off of drawings and Bills of Material chamber market * Customer technical contact for product development, product support, design approvals * Design cost reduction
Job Requirements:
PLEASE DON'T APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS: * Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields. * 5 years minimum of experience doing mechanical design. * Has had engineers reporting to candidate. * Capable of driving 3-D CAD modeling, SolidWorks and AutoCAD experience a plus. * Good organizer and experienced with drawing revision control and configuration management. * Experienced at checking other peoples' drawings. Candidate will possess excellent communication skills and able to interface with customers and suppliers. Willing to travel occasionally. Experience in the vacuum industry a must. Experienced with finite element analysis for stress and heat transfer. High GPA at a reputable engineering school. Stress analysis and pressure forces. Experienced with mechanical assembly and machine design. Basic lean manufacturing techniques. Job costing based on the technical requirements.
