Candidates in the New York Metro area are preferred, but this is not a requirement. Responsibilities: Be a member of a team of analysts in the manufacturing area. Specific area of expertise desired is knowledge of the consumer packaged goods industry with supply chain experience a plus. As an analyst you will be responsible for: - Writing research targeted at business professionals in the manufacturing industry that want to use information technology to grow their business. 1) Delivering presentations at Gartner and other events on your research area. 2) Providing guidance to clients on the telephone related to your research. 3) On-site delivery of strategic advice to clients about how to transform their business using information technology. The Gartner IAS service is relationship-based, so this person much have solid interpersonal skills and the desire to want to create new ways to proactively engage with and deliver value to the Gartner IAS Manufacturing clients. Qualifications 1) Industry Experience: minimum of 5 years in a Life Sciences Manufacturing Company with strong knowledge of information technology as applied to solving business problems. 2) Strong analytic skills: Ability to quickly net out positions regarding business strategy related to deployment of information technology.
