Job Description:
The regional area in which Pittsburgh is located, with its four surrounding counties, is ranked 19th in size in the country with a population of approximately 2.3 million people It is home to major sports teams, universities, cultural activities; and also offers exceptional outdoor recreation in all seasons. The Lean Six Sigma Training Manager is responsible for the design, development, and delivery of PPG\'s Quality Process methodologies. Courses may be delivered by incumbent, other PPG resource, or third party provider. This position will have an initial focus as Lead Instructor for Lean Enterprise-Manufacturing, but is expected to develop expertise in Lean Enterprise-Transactional or Six Sigma for Manufacturing. As part of the Corporate Quality team, the incumbent will work with businesses and functions to select processes, projects, and people to drive for results in the application of Quality Process tools (Lean, Six Sigma, and Business Process Improvement). Although the home base will be General Office, training assignments will occur at or near any of PPG\'s global locations.
