Job Description:
 A Fortune 1000 company seeks a Financial Analyst with 8+ years of experience. The candidate performs economic research and studies subjects such as rates of return, rent rates,interest rates, reserve investments, cash flow, real estate markets, fixed assets and depreciation, working capital, investments, loans, transaction structures, financial comparisons and financial and expense comparisons by analysis of profit and loss statements ,cash flow statements balance sheets, internal and third party reports and legal documents. Work may involve analyzing, advising on, approving aspects of, and implementing major transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, redevelopments, syndications and other deal structures. Analyzes property income statements and balance sheets and performs trend analysis. Leads accounting, financial and economic aspects of projects. Provides technical expertise regarding systems and processes. Documents processes, policies and procedures for use by others. Prepares reports of findings and recommendations to management. Complete understanding and application of financial and economic principles, concepts, practices, and standards as well as knowledge of industry practices. Work also involves analyzing & solving problems, moderately difficult due to their interpersonal and/or technical complexity, scope and ambiguity. May exercise freedom from general guidelines or practices. New or previously unused solutions may be developed. Limited supervision. May act as a lead without hire/fire authority. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access is needed. Basic PeopleSoft, Hyperion or Essbase skills are required.
