Job Description:
 A Fortune 500 company seeks a Senior Financial Analyst with 5+ years of relevant experience. The candidate will develop, implement and manage data management systems needed for monthly variance analysis, forecasts and weekly cash forecasts. Assist with development of annual 5 year plan. Assist in management of the capital project budget. As directed by the regional management, maintain and enhance managerial reporting of financial and operational reporting and lead the project team in the development of short and long-term forecasting with options and solutions for improvements. Interface and assist the accounting functions and for special projects as required. Provide information in a timely manner and cooperatively works with others in solving day-to-day operational problems. Ensure that effective controls are in place to safeguard project assets, including cash, receivables, inventories, capital assets, and contractual rights. Monitor and ensure compliance with corporate, legal, and professional standards. Provide financial review, planning, and modeling for the plant business as required. Participate in the development and achievement of strategic business plans, goals, and objectives. Integrate such plans with the budget development process. Prepare proforma projections and all project financial statements consistent with applicable policies and procedures. Coordinate, guide and maintain awareness of all plant financial, accounting, property tax and insurance costs. Accredited BS/BA degree in economics, accounting, finance or similar is required. Knowledge of and experience in strategic planning and optimization of plant operations is needed. Proficiency utilizing Excel is required. Modeling tools, statistical analysis tools, Oracle, MAXIMO and Hyperion financial systems experience a is plus.
