Job Description:
Working knowledge of word-processing and data management (Excel or Access) software. Ability to use SAS to program edit checks, provide summary listings and summary tables. Manage data entry and query resolution team. Working knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines and FDA regulations. Ability to work on complex problems or data that requires an evaluation of intangible variables. Exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Works on extremely complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variables. Exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. May determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may provide guidance to other lower level personnel. Prefer a BS in computer science or data management, preferably prior SAS programming experience in a clinical studies setting. Requires a minimum of 3 years prior experience in data management activities (e.g., coordinating data, interacting with biostatisticians, programmers, etc., coding developing SOPs and prior supervising responsibilities, etc.), with a CRO, a pharmaceutical or Biotech company.
