Job Description:
Investor Relations (IR) is a division of CFS and acts as a liaison between our clients and our clients’ investors. IR is responsible for processing all documentation and monies for investor transactions, including verification of each investor to ensure eligibility and compliance with anti-money laundering requirements. IR communicates with clients on all aspects of investor activity. IR is also responsible for producing and distributing all investor reports.
Account Managers (AM) lead teams dedicated to servicing a group of clients. This role is focused on comprehensive relationship management with Investment Managers including, day-to-day interaction as well as pro-active strategic discussions. It requires thorough and precise work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Some of the requirements of the position include but are not limited to:
• Build and manage client relationships
• Supervise a staff of 3-4 Investor Relation Specialists
o Follow-up with investors on missing documentation
o Maintain all electronic and physical partner records
o Maintain bank accounts for funds assigned
o Produce partner statements and correspondence
o Appropriate handling of fund manager and investor calls
o Review & approve of investor capital activity
• Prepare and review all activity within stated Service Level Agreements
o Capital activity documentation
o Money transfer dollar amounts and Know Your Client
o Reporting (daily, weekly, monthly)
• Assist with various projects as assigned
Job Requirements:
Qualifications required:
• 3-5 years experience in Financial Services
• 1-3 years experience supervising staff
• Strong software skills
o MS Excel – The successful candidate will be comfortable with formulas, should understand the basics of macros & pivot tables, and be able to navigate and understand complex workbooks.
o In general, candidates should have an intuitive feel and be a quick study for various software applications.
• Exposure to and understand the concepts of fund accounting and performance reporting
• Knowledge of KYC / AML

• Demonstrated strong client relationship experience
• BS or BA in Accounting/Finance/Economics
• Strong attention to detail
• Superior written and oral communication skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
• Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects
• Proactive attitude
