Provides direct supervision of hourly production workers in a union setting, as well as the oversight and direction of various seasonal personnel to achieve Annual Operating Plan (AOP) goals, as well as other goals set by the management team. 2. Ensures that maintenance and capital projects in the canning and processing areas is completed in a timely and efficient manner and within set budget and time restraints. Responsible for the annual requirements for both seamer performance and thermal processing calibration. 3. Responsible for manufacturing process quality and consistency. Initiates appropriate product holds (Restraining Orders (ROs) and Product Disposition Requests) when out of specification situations occur. 4. Responsible for manufacturing thru-put and associated costs. Ensures that the production facility operates in an efficient manner so as to meet or exceed volume and cost goals set by the Annual Operating Plan (AOP). 5. Responsible for the coordination and successful completion of capital improvement projects goals set by the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and management. Assist in the development of the annual and five year capital program at Mendota.
