Job Description:

A company developing entertainment products and technologies seeks a Senior Financial Analyst with 5-7 years’ experience in financial planning and analysis. The candidate will support various departments with budgeting, forecasting and analysis; provide management with financial guidance and analysis related to the forecasts, budget and multi-year financial plans; analyze monthly expenses and cash flows and investigating major variances. Compare and analyze actual results to budget/forecast to identify business drivers, recommend corrective action and improve forecast/budget accuracy. Develop Financial Models to support the D-Cinema Rollout. Verify forecast accuracy by comparing forecast results to actual financial performance. Work with divisions to improve forecast reliability by working directly with sub-department managers. Consolidate department input for fiscal operating budget. Assist with budget and forecast training and consulting. Prepare annual corporate cash budgets. Analyze monthly summaries of cash transactions compared to budget and update quarterly forecasts. Perform monthly actual vs. budget expense analysis . Assist in developing models to support company initiatives and/or financial decisions. Participate in Continuous Improvement (CIC) initiatives to assist in improving the company’s current process. Ability to coach people on budgeting and forecasting. Analyze revenue trends. Perform duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or any member of the management team, subject to approval by direct manager and/or departmental VP. The candidate should have Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting and M.B.A. preferred. Should have solid knowledge of Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Statement of Cash Flows. Knowledge of or experience in an organization that practices world class quality procedures preferred.
