Job Description:
Reporting to the Payroll Supervisor, the incumbent requires an in-depth knowledge and understanding of multi provincial biweekly payroll and the ability to complete the payroll cycle from hire to termination. It will be critical to successfully maintain strong employee relations and demonstrate a helpful and positive attitude.

You will also be required to generate reports and provide information and general administrative support relative to payroll.

Job Requirements:
2 years previous Payroll experience - CPA Level 1
Ability to interact with all levels of management and a vast array of individuals on a mature and professional level while demonstrating a high degree of initiative, discretion, diplomacy and tact
Working knowledge of provincial payroll regulations coupled with basic accounting knowledge
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Knowledge of ADP Payroll software would be a definite asset
Fluent with MS Office suite of applications (Word, Excel)
Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills
Able to handle private and confidential information and documents
