Job Description:
Develop and implement process control improvements * Facilitate problem resolution by working cross functionally with customers, plants, and support groups * Develop improvements to mfg processes, methods, inspection, and testing * Evaluate capability of mfg processes and develop capability improvement plans to close critical gaps * Develop visual management solutions that improve the visibility of key performance indicators and drive desired behaviors * Manage problem solving process to drive continuous improvement Tools/Measures * Incorporate Lean Six Sigma tools into day to day business processes * Lead development of an operating system including standardized tools, practices, training, and framework for lean and six sigma deployment * Analyze OpEx metrics and develop conclusions and recommendations for improvements * Develop key performance indicator (KPI) reports and systems to drive continuous improvement including leadership team reviews * Lead initiatives focused on OEE, asset utilization & cost improvement UI Operations Support * Advise management and provide strategic direction on Lean Six Sigma project selection, integration, resources and prioritization. * Liaison between the UI Lean Six Sigma Champion and Operations * Support the development and deployment of the UI Operating System * Participate on teams to apply OpEx Assessments to other plants and functions Required Skills Required Skills * Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical discipline required * A minimum of five years experience in continuous improvement/operations required.
