Job Description:
Capital plant improvements, fleet needs, labor, electrical and other utility costs Directs efficient and profitable routing of deliveries through direct deliveries and ISB technology as justified Ensures that Corporate Policy and Procedures are followed Confers with customers to evaluate service levels and promote improved and expanded services in area Interfaces with Reddy Ice Distributors to ensure profitable, seamless operations Reviews production costs and product quality, and modifies production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation of plant and distribution centers Reviews operations of competing organizations and plans and directs sales program to develop new markets Directs hiring, training and disciplinary actions Directly supervises management personnel within location Reviews and approves performance reviews of management personnel Acts as Plant Safety Coordinator in implementing and overseeing all aspects of Corporate Safety and Risk Management Programs Interfaces with government and other regulatory agencies such as FMCSA, DOL, OSHA, FDA and EP in accordance with all Company Policies and Safety Programs.
