Job Description:
Provide strong direction on revision control of HDL code across large FPGA development team with multiple releases.* Facilitate the automation of synthesis tools for expediting project development cycles.* Direct and coordinate bringup of FPGAs on the target PCB.* Providing technical leadership and guidance to FPGA verification team focused specifically with System Verilog based FPGA testbenches.* Administrative functions related to group being managed including performance reviews.* Develop, design, maintain and document FPGA designs in a manner compatible with ISO 9000 process. Required Skills: Skills * Data and Tele communications experience (SONET, OC-3/12/48, GbE, 10GbE, OTN, OTU1/2/3)* Prior experience with playing technical lead on substantial data path FPGA projects.* Detailed knowledge and understanding of various FPGA technology.* High speed FPGA design. FPGA design tool experience including HDL (VHDL/Verilog) and FPGA circuit simulation (ModelSim)* Knowledge of Synplicity\'s Synplify Pro.* Experience in interfacing to various FPGA vendors, including both Altera and Xilinx.
