The position is responsible for orchestrating the creation, communication and tracking of drug development plans, timelines and milestones, including the generation of monthly and quarterly progress reports for CVTĂ ??s pipeline. Additional responsibilities include the development of project team recommendations on strategic and operational issues. You will summarize project issues and options to facilitate decision-making with senior management committees. Another key responsibility is the management of corporate alliance relationships to ensure contract obligations are met, and to promote effective communication internally and externally. Requirements Success in this role requires in-depth understanding of the drug development process combined with advanced project management and alliance management skills. Qualified candidates are required to have a BachelorĂ ??s degree, preferably in Life Sciences, with 7+ yearsĂ ?? relevant experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Experience should include leading cross-functional development teams and familiarity with contracts. The ability to understand scientific data is important. Experience with cardiovascular or diabetic therapeutics is a plus. A solid grasp of project-level financial data and forecasting would be valuable.
