Job Description:
This position oversees and directs the policies, procedures and activities of teams involved in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining clinical applications/systems. Facilitates and/or participates in and has input to the design/development process. Overview: Directs and controls activities related to staffing, managing, and budgeting services projects supporting implementation and maintenance of clinical systems/applications Ensure projects are delivered on-time, on-budget, with highest level of quality, and high level of customer satisfaction Maintains current knowledge of issues affecting Clinical Systems and the Healthcare industry Monitors industry trends, identifies emerging technologies, and suggest improvements to tools and processes Monitor and enforce best practices and consistency with Delivery tasks across the department Provides counsel on Clinical and Data Managemetn topics to Senior Management of area supported Oversees and manages the administration of the function assigned, including full budget and staff responsibility Ensures employees receive training, development, coaching, and motivation for effective performance and retention Manages functional objectives and priorities supporting multiple assigned business units Responsible for high utilization of all direct reports and team Work closely with Implementation Services personnel, to define better processes, ensuring quicker turnarounds and improved quality for study build tasks. Work with services VP and PDs to resolve any project related issues that are escalated Accountable for overall productivity and throughput of all direct reports. Qualifications: College degree in biology, life sciences, computer sciences, or related discipline.
