Job Description:
Demonstrated success in independent and consistent decision making. * Be able to constructively challenge the status quo and be capable of influencing at all organizational levels. * Demonstrated competence in the application of statistics in Quality Systems. * Candidates must be willing to travel a minimum of 4 weeks per year. * The ability to occasionally travel internationally to work with global team members. * Unrestricted work authorization in the US is required for BS or MS level candidates, but will sponsor visas for PhD-level candidates. * Must be willing to work out of an office located in Niskayuna, NY. * Must be willing to take a drug test and submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process. * Must be 18 years or older. * If currently a GE Employee, you must have been in your current position for at least 24 months and have at least a satisfactory performance rating. * You must submit your application for employment through GECareers.com to be considered. Desired * Working knowledge of molecular,protein and cellular biology techniques including;Expression cloning, polymerase chain reaction, mutagenesis, gel electrophoresis, Northern and Western blotting techniques, gene sequencing methods cultivating and characterizing human cells, in vitro assay design and vector construction techniques. * Experience of in vitro and ex vivo tissue characterization methods, protein expression, cellular and biochemical analysis and computational DMPK models and experimental design is preferred. * Preferred experience and proven track record in cellular therapeutics, in vitro diagnostics technologies in an applied or translational research environment, * Applicants with academic or industrial pharmaceutical or functional imaging agent development experience with proven track records are particularly encouraged to apply. * Experience in human health and pathology.
