Job Description:
Director of Catering/Convention Services
We are seeking an experienced Director of Catering/Convention Services at our Boston property.
Responsibilities, to include:
* Hire, train, manage and coach approximately 3-10 catering and or convention services managers in their selling process.
* Primary responsibility is to book catering business.
Job Requirements:
Experience/Skills Required:
* Must be proficient in general computer knowledge;
* Ability to train and monitor the process of sending referrals, setting traces and profiling accounts.
* Communication and organization skills of utmost importance.
* The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years experience; minimum 2 years.
* Previous management experience required.
* Highschool or equivalent required.
* Occasional travel required.
This position provides and excellent compensation and benefit package, including bonus eligibility.
