This will be accomplished by partnering with operations management in implementing effective and practical solutions that lead to a culture where Health and Safety is not compromised. The plant has about 750 employees. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Adheres to all Safe Work Practices (SWP) and organizational policies and procedures. Must abide by all safety requirements and attain safety goals. Compile, distribute, analyze and act on safety performance data. Conduct safety inspections and audits to determine site and program status and needs. Conduct incident and accident investigations and develop corrective and preventative action plans. Develop and implement strategies and policies that drive excellence and continuous improvement in all aspects of Health and Safety. Ensure that health and safety trends are made available to management for consideration in the formulation of policies and procedures.
