Job Description:
The Superior Court of California, County of Orange has an immediate vacancy for the position of Supervising Court Investigator at the Lamoreaux Justice Center located in the city of Orange.
This classification is the supervisory level within the Court Investigator series and is distinguished from the lower level Court Investigator classes in that it has full responsibility for a staff of investigators and/or support staff, with the majority of time spent on supervisory work.

Job Requirements:
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in the field of psychology, counseling, social work, sociology, nursing or other behavioral science closely related to marriage and family interpersonal relationships including course work in supervision and program management.
Required Experience:
Four years of directly related social service type investigative experience or any combination of training and/or experience that would have developed the required knowledge and abilities.
Experience Substitution:
A Masters degree in psychology, counseling, social work, sociology or other behavioral science may substitute for one year of the required experience
Desirable Skills: Supervisory or lead role experience.
