Job Description:
Works in all areas of the plants to lead and facilitate continuous improvement and World Class Manufacturing initiatives, and process documentation for process control. Leads workshops on Model Areas in the various Plants, and conducts directly Kaizen events. Trains the Plants resources and facilitate the knowledge transfer to the Plants, in order to trigger a self sustainable improvement process at plant level. Involves employees at possibly all levels of the Plants’ organization and possibly from multiple disciplines to achieve the goals of continuous improvement. Continuous improvement activities could be any of the following areas for plant performance: safety, quality, productivity and/or cost. Areas of know how could comprehend Workplace Organization, Autonomous and Professional Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Logistics. Has a thorough understanding of problem solving and process control. Broad knowledge of manufacturing, techniques, production and capacity planning. Able to lead teams for continuous improvement activities and Kaizen events. Ability to effectively communicate/teach on all levels and work with several facilities. An extensive amount of independent thinking is required. Able to work with minimal supervision, coordinating, planning and monitoring Projects.
