Job Description:

A media company seeks a Financial Analyst with 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, A/P or procurement operations and analysis. The candidate will support the business by providing unsurpassed financial analysis expertise for the operations of the technology group. Develop and maintain reporting methodology for company's internal customers, technology group managers and department heads. Assist with business cases and prepare project cost estimates. Perform complex financial analysis on a recurring or ad hoc basis. Monitor and report on financial information for all projects. Manage technology procurement operations. Provide financial analysis support as needed. B.S. degree in Finance or Accounting is needed. Strong understanding of financial/accounting practices, policies and standard operating procedures is required. Solid experience in mid to high level accounting systems. Understanding of accounting software applications and financial report writing tools is needed. Expertise in using standard analysis and querying tools such as Microsoft Access and Excel is required. Good understanding of A/P, procurement, and financial analysis is required.
