Responsibilities: Responsible for managing the activities within Optical Systems Manufacturing to meet production, cost, quality and safety goals. Plans, organizes and implements manufacturing procedures in accordance with managed quarterly and annual budgets. Makes budgetary recommendations and coordinates procurement for capital expenditures. Is responsible for all PQ Optical Systems product lines. Selects, hires and trains personnel. Responsible for the planning, coordination and direction of all production operations to ensure maximum throughput and quality. Oversees shipping, receiving, and material returns. Handles special projects, as assigned Skill Requirements: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem solving skills. Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing principles, concepts, theories and practices of the area of responsibility. Experience with SAP and ISO are a significant plus.
