Job Description:
The primary responsibility for this position is to supervise, facilitate, coach, assist, and manage the deployment of people, materials, machines, and supplies in the optimum manufacture of hydraulics products, meeting customer quality, delivery, schedule, and cost expectations. The production supervisor leads department meetings and training sessions, resolves employee problems, creates a motivated, involved workforce, interviews and recommends candidates for employment, counsels employees on policies, disciplines when necessary, participates in customer and supplier visits, recommends and implements cost and expense reduction ideas. Job Qualifications Bachelors degree in business or technical field. 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience. Proven effective interpersonal skills. Highly effective in coaching, communicating with, and motivating manufacturing employees.
