Job Description:
 An Entertainment company seeks Director of Finance with 3+ years’ experience in a casino/hotel finance related position at a managerial level. Implements and maintains a system of strategic control with emphasis on using financial information diagnostically to assess the performance of marketing, operations, technical, human resources and financial strategies. Develops increased awareness among property management of the issues confronting us, researches solutions and formulates the key decisions. Formulates and gains management team support for a focused, cooperative strategy for property growth. Develops organizational capability (experience and design) in order to execute strategy successfully, and establishes a leadership position to effectively evaluate strategic plans, while maintaining the integrity of decisions and results, both internally and externally. Assesses competitive trends; evaluates the impact on established goals and financial objectives, and implements corresponding plans. Assesses guest and employee needs and develops products, services, systems, and channels to satisfy these needs profitably. Establishes, implements, and monitors the necessary management and internal controls required to safeguard company assets and maintain integrity of information and operations. Develops systems that monitor and control the progress of key strategic decisions used to allocate property resources for continued growth and identifies opportunities to eliminate resource under-utilization. Responsible for information technology, ensuring that service and information is provided in an efficient manner to the required parties. Plans, directs, and coordinates, through subordinates, the property's finance, strategic planning, accounting, treasury, material management, project development, capital, security, surveillance, regulatory, and information services. Master’s degree in accounting or finance or CPA required. A broad knowledge of casino/hotel internal and accounting controls, policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements. Requires diversified finance or accounting background.
