Job Description:
Our facilities are located in the heart of the Gulf Coast aerospace region, serving our customers with an attitude and commitment to get the job done on time, with the highest level of quality and value. Supervises employees who put together component parts to make UH-1Y major assemblies, subassemblies, or completed units. Requires the ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings and knowledge of Bell parts. Must be able to communicate and lead a diverse group of people of different skill level. Requires a minimum of 2 years of UH-1Y assembly experience and supervisory experience. Physical Requirements: Primarily manufacturing/assembly environment. Must be able to work in the following environmental conditions: noise, oil, grease, grime and dust are present, temperature of working area will reflect the outside weather conditions. Must have close visual acuity such as viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines, and/or assembly or fabrication parts at close distance to the eyes. Must be able to communicate effectively.
