Job Description:
Typical Duties Include: Selects and supervises managers, foremen and/or superintendents and office staff. Reviews performance of subordinates, monitors performance review process of remainder of plant employees. Conducts meetings to determine and plan optimal economy and quality of plant products. Develops manufacturing processes and equipment for new products. Coordinates with all areas to ensure production schedules are met. Ensures accurate, complete records are maintained in all departments. Prepares annual budgets, projections, quarterly reports, etc. Advises departments regarding manning and expense goals and ensures efforts are made to meet budget projections. Determines plant improvements and repairs along with annual costs and schedules. Approves all requisitions and invoices for operating materials.
