John Deere Construction and Forestry is seeking a Supervisor to supervise 2nd or 3rd shift skilled trades to support Davenport Works manufacturing equipment and facilities. In this position, you will: Serve as a first line liaison between wage employees and management in representing the company's interests with shop floor personnel. Prioritize work according to tactical business priorities (repairs, hazard elimination, preventative and predictive maintenance schedules, manufacturing improvement projects, new construction, and maintenance projects). Implement factory initiatives (specifically 5S and other DPS process improvements). Support off shift shipping/receiving and main crib activities when and where needed, as well as communicate between shifts to ensure continuity of the operation.
