Position Overview: The Production Manager executes the manufacturing process in alignment with the divisional sourcing strategy. Ensures Ann Taylor standards of IMU performance, quality, delivery and business practices are achieved. Champions the company's Values & Practices by maintaining effective collaborative relationships, taking pride in the company and brand, and embracing diversity. Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:* Achieves the seasonal IMU aligned to the corporate financial objectives. * Communicates with Product Development to determine the country allocation for sample execution.* Collaborates with production offices and suppliers to ensure the production allocations are aligned to the global sourcing strategy. * Manages all phases of production from costing through delivery. * Monitors the fit approval process ensuring all deadlines are met. * Ensures all bulk fabric and trim is properly tested in accordance with AT standards.* Manages and communicates seasonal time and actions calendars.* Collaborates with logistics on all pre-classifications and binding rulings. * People Management-Responsible for the selection, development and retention of team members.-Mentors, coaches and counsels direct reports on performance expectations. -Provides a positive, challenging work environment. -Recognizes and rewards talent and accomplishments.Position Requirements:* Bachelors degree, in a related field of study, or equivalent functional experience* Minimum 3-5 years work experience in sourcing and production* Strong knowledge of fabric/yarn and basic garment construction* Strong leadership and organizational skills* Flexible/adaptable in a fast paced environment. * Strong team orientation and ability to maintain collaborative working relationships* Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and problem-solving skills * Available to travel internationally* Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
