The primary purpose of the position is to deploy the use of the lean manufacturing tools and principles to identify waste in the manufacturing process and to eliminate the waste to the degree possible. The position is located in the central valley of California The individual must be able to think-out-of-the-box towards the next generation of manufacturing process as well as leverage future systems and his/her experience in order to take a leadership position. The expectation is this individual will help develop a culture of continuous improvement that will drive quality improvements, sustained cost savings and safety improvements that will significantly lower the Company's production costs while maintaining the products high quality standards. This individual will:Have 3 to 5 years of manufacturing experience in a high mix process oriented environment. This must included specific experience in lean manufacturing implementations. Be a champion of the lean manufacturing methodology, providing mentoring and support to each production facility to which the manager is assigned.
